Personal Experience Tips-&-Tricks Please be patient the pictures take a bit to load.
After you click on audio a new window pops up with the audio view of your selected tracks. It should look like this:
Now click on the second track to highlight it. This should deselect the first track but keep the second track selected. Should look like this:
now left click and hold down the left button and "drag" the track to the right just slightly. Very slightly, there she be just a sliver of white space on the left of the track.(*note we could have just plugged in the time way back in the 3rd step or so by putting in something other than zero. but what would be the fun in that) should look look like this:
now just go to the toolbar (located all the way at the top)and click view and then click console. A new window appears with your mixing console in it. There are sliders (highlighted in red) that control your panning (left and right). Ever so slightly, move track ones slider to the left and track two's slider to the right for a slight widening effect. The further you move them apart the wider it will sound. Should look similar this:
Now just hit the play button and see what you think. If there is a huge delay between track one and track two (sounds like echo) then you slid the track over too far while in the audio view. Follow the steps above to fix it. Experiment with this to see what else you come up with. Listen to a short test track, one using this tip and one not using it. Test Track without using above tip. -- PLAY Test Track implementing above tip. -- PLAY Can you tell the difference between the first cheesy recording of my voice and the second? I can.
Hope you enjoyed. -JM Brown
