Saddle:

Simply put a saddle (pictured below) is a piece of the bridge that keeps your guitar string in place. Usually one per string (on electrics). There is usually a screw,  Philips head, on each one used to adjust the tension up & down. And two hex screws to adjust each strings height. These adjustments can help adjust the intonation of your strings.
